Capital benchmark 2019
- 1 May 2019
About the benchmark
The ORX Capital Benchmark report has been part of our core research offer since 2010. It gives a unique insight into levels of capital held by the banking industry.
It provides the only industry-wide comparison on both global and regional levels of operational risk capital in the banking industry.
The annual benchmark collects a large amount of privileged data from participants on their current capital values as well as capital calculated with the new standardised approach. In return, participants receive an individual and anonymised benchmark report.
This is a unique study, which gives participants a detailed level of comparison of their operational risk capital. Participants will receive a general and a customised report. Both high-level and in-depth benchmarking are delivered, providing participants with tools to engage senior management and help respond to regulatory challenge.
Capital Benchmarking 2019
This study will mirror the Quantitative Impact Study (QIS) benchmark with banks submitting part of the operational risk tab of their QIS Basel III monitoring submission.
We collect the data confidentially through our dedicated Insight system, guaranteeing anonymity and security of the data. The project will be provided back to banks directly via Insight, ensuring complete participant anonymity.
Participants will receive a general report aggregating the results and a customised benchmark, both with a great level of analytical detail and global and regional views.
This is the only study in the industry that gives you this level of comparison. The final reports will be published to participants in August.
