The ORX News service has reached a milestone of over 10,000 published stories on the ORX News website over the past 10 years.
The ORX News team is made up of 9 researchers, who collectively speak over 10 major languages. Our main job is to scout for publicly reported operational risk loss events from across the globe, summarising and categorising these events based on the Operational Risk Reporting Banking and Insurance Standards and the ORX Reference Taxonomy.
Over the years, our coverage has developed to include cyber, climate, and other ESG-related events. Evolving and adapting to the incredibly fast-paced world of operational risk is also at the core of the ORX News service, and the diversity and collaborative nature of the team enable us to continually produce high-quality content, which is used by our subscribers and supports their risk management.
The ORX News team also delivers deep dives, the top 5 largest op risk losses of the month, in-focus pieces, spotlight stories, public loss profiles, and more. Furthermore, in 2022 we delivered our first ever ORX News webinar and launched a monthly podcast. There is a lot to celebrate, but mostly – a huge thank you to a fantastic team who work very hard to always deliver quality content to the community.
