2022 – Marking a milestone year for ORX and our members

This year has been a milestone year for ORX with it being our 20th anniversary, so we thought it would be a good time to reflect on our collective successes over the past two decades.

2022 has been another year of expansion and growth for ORX, thanks to the efforts of our members. Highlights include:

• The expansion of our community for the sharing of insights, data and best practice – including the development of two new communities on risk management and data science.
• The launch of a world-first Reference Control Library, strengthening our standards work to create a consistent foundation for effective benchmarking and innovation.
• The creation of a new platform offering innovative risk technology solutions (iDP) to be launched in 2023.

We couldn’t do what we do without the continued support of every one of our members.

We value the input from all ORX members – whether they have been part of our global operational risk community for a few months or many years. However, for our 20th anniversary, we wanted to launch a scheme which recognises and shows our gratitude to those members who have demonstrated commitment over a long period of time. Moving forward into 2023, we have an exciting new agenda planned for the year and beyond. In January, we will share more details of new standards, new sharing opportunities, and new tools – all designed with the sole purpose of supporting our member firms in facing both the challenge and opportunity of operating in an increasingly digitalised world.
