Defining the operational risk agenda
The Heads of Operational Risk Forum (HORF) is our premier event – a private, invitation-only forum for Heads of Operational Risk to share experiences and discuss ideas. It's open to our membership, and selected non-member firms to attend.
To give all our members the opportunity to attend, we hold the HORF in a different location each year. The 2018 forum will be in New York on 15-16 May.
Influence the development of operational risk
Whether it's cyber, conduct, risk appetite, outsourcing, risk taxonomy or any other of the plethora of issues, the operational risk managers plate has never been so full.
HORF 2018 gives participants the chance to share the challenges they face and the opportunities they see with their peers . Participants will be able to help form an industry view on how the operational risk discipline should continue to evolve.
As usual, HORF 2018 will include a series of open discussions with peers and talks by senior figures in the operational risk community. HORF also gives participants the chance to build networks with other members. We will develop the agenda over the coming months and share this with attendees as soon as we can.
This event is a unique opportunity to discuss operational risk with a senior peer group. To make the most of this we work with our membership to identify the most valuable topics and most valuable speakers. We get in touch with everyone who has registered to attend with a request for more formal input before the event.
The forum is due to start at 8.30am on 15 May and will finish at 5pm on 16 May. We will confirm the exact timings when we send out the agenda.
